Dr. Deepak Singh is an Assistant Professor (Contract) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Institute of Engineering & Technology (I.E.T.), Lucknow, with 15+ years of combined academic and industrial experience. He has been serving at I.E.T. Lucknow since December 2022 and previously worked as a Resource Person at UIET, Baba Sahab Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Lucknow; Assistant Professor at Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, Lucknow; and Assistant Professor at Dr. M.C. Saxena Engineering College, Lucknow.
He also has industrial experience as an Assistant Manager (Quality Control) at P.N. International, Lucknow, and as a Graduate Engineer Trainee at D.S. Constructions, Delhi. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from I.E.T., AKTU, Lucknow, with research focused on Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWTs) for low-air-velocity applications, along with an M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Quality Management.
His areas of expertise include Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), ANSYS, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), mechanical design, renewable energy, Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWTs), quality engineering, and engineering research and development (R&D). He has published several research papers, co-authored the book Mechanical & System Engineering, and holds two registered design registrations.
