Analysis and Mitigation of Small Signal Stability issues of DFIG Integrated Wind Energy Conversion System Utilizing FACTS Controllers

This thesis analysed the effect of penetration of Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) based Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) in the power grid particularly focusing on the small signal stability aspects. Further mitigation of such caused oscillations were addressed through the application Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) controllers.
